My family and I volunteered for Pride in 2016 and I met Christopher. Shortly after Pride NCOP’s facility flooded and they were looking for a temporary office. I asked my supervisor if they could work out of our office while they find a new drop in.
That’s when I spoke to Christopher about my interest in facilitating a group that would include the same age of the youth I work with. I have been facilitating Prism for 3 years now. They are so comfortable with each other and just enjoy their time in random conversations and music. Youth are my passion and advocating for them fuels my soul.
For fun I enjoy Jazzercise, dancing and spending time with my family.

I believe in creating a fun, safe, and encouraging environment for the youth who come to us. I also believe that laughter is an amazing medicine.
I love volunteering here, and the kids are amazing. Come down and join us for one of our support groups or events!
Hi! My name is Angela French (she/her). You know that phrase jack of all trades? That’s me in a nutshell. I’ve mucked stables, cleaned houses, worked for non-profits, owned businesses... I’d say if there is one thing I’ve truly mastered, it’s being a student - probably because I’m so darn curious about everything and everyone.

I’ve always loved working with youth, and am having a blast working with our NorCal Outreach youth. They are amazing!
I also want to be the most skillful Ally I can be, not only to the youth, but to the LGBTQ+ community as a whole. There’s nothing quite so satisfying as getting to know people, sharing life, learning from each other, and encouraging each other.
Other stuff? I love dancing. I hate mayonaise. Dogs are my people.
